Ashley koester

INSTRUCTOR

Ashley started dancing at the age of 4 at Robert Thomas Dance Studio studying ballet, contemporary, jazz and tap. She enjoyed performing in the Nutcracker for a couple of performances. In high school, Ashley really enjoyed being a part of theatre and performed as well as directed various productions. She also started a dance team and choreographed routines and led the team to raise money and perform at various functions. Ashley has over 8 years' experience teaching recreational and competitive dance including lyrical, jazz, tap, hip hop and ballet. She has attended various master classes over the years and continues to work hard to further her skills and keep up on the current trends. Her areas of expertise are tap, jazz and lyrical. Ashley has her bachelors degree in Psychology and has worked over 14 years in mental health. It is Ashley’s love for dance and working with students that brings her to Motivate Dance and she is excited to see every student achieve their goals and express themselves through dance. Ashley has worked with many kids over the years both in the mental health field and through teaching dance and inspires every student to find their happy place.
